Albania

Albania is a country rich in culture and diversity, and until recently, isolated from the world. Program participants can expect to encounter friendly and warm people, different religious groups living in harmony and tremendous need – especially in the area of education. In partnership with local nonprofits, participants have the opportunity to create real and sustainable difference within this country that has been shut off from the world for so long.

Our past adventures in Albania

Learn

Hands-on, immersive cultural learning opportunities include visiting the Pyramid of Tirana (formerly NATO HQ during the conflict in Kosovo), an outing to discover the the history behind Albania’s thousands of mysterious bunkers, and a day long excursion to explore the enchanting villages in the Albanian countryside.

Serve

Access to education, especially in rural parts of this nation-state, is the top priority for our service work in Albania. Past groups have been engaged in a rural school build, English-language instruction and basic education, and many other sorts of infrastructure and teaching projects.
